NMLS CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES YOU NEED FOR ALABAMA

✅ No State-Specific CE Required

Alabama does not require anything special for CE. Finish your 7 Hour Federal plus 1 Hour Elective course for a total of 8 hours and you'll be all done!

What You Need

  • 7-Hour Federal CE Course (3 hours federal law, 2 hours ethics, 2 hours non-traditional lending)
  • 1-Hour Elective (any NMLS-approved elective course)

Bonus: if you're licensed in a state that requires state-specific training, that course generally fulfills the 1 Hour Elective for Alabama too. Let's go!

Deadline: all hours must be completed by December 31 each year. We recommend finishing by December 5 so your completion is reported to NMLS before the renewal deadline.
